On Thursday, March 15, a group of community leaders, students and people young and old will again be shaving their heads in support of the fundraising effort to conquer kids’ cancer.
The McHenry Community Shave event is held at West Campus High School as part of this year’s St. Baldrick’s Day in McHenry. Over the past 3 years more than 700 heads have been shaved and over $120,000 has been donated to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. What an outstanding way to unite children and adults in this wonderful effort.
