Gather your team and sign up to compete in the Human Dog Sled Race, where teams will battle it out in a two-day double elimination tournament! The event fee of $45 covers a team of six, which must include a sled rider, a sled pusher and four sled pullers; however, two alternate team members are allowed. Sleds will be provided, and prizes will be awarded for the first, second and third place finishers. The race is a straight course of about 175 feet in length and will take place at Lake Geneva’s Riviera Beach. Participants can keep warm in the snow by dressing in their best team costumes, and there will be a prize handed out for the most creative attire! The Elimination Round begins today, Feb. 6 from 7 to 10 p.m. followed by the Championship Round on Saturday, Feb. 7 from noon to 3 p.m. Register your team today, or make plans to come watch the action!
